Collaborative projects
Impact research is concerned with how effective projects and initiatives for the common good are. It uses figures and data to show what impact organizations actually have. Here, Acker Impact acts as the interface between practice and research. We support the planning and implementation of collaborative projects—with innovative approaches and methods of impact measurement. This also means that we illustrate the results for politics, business and society in a transparent and comprehensible way.
Impact studies
As part of impact studies, we support the background research of relevant scientific studies, jointly create a data collection plan, and analyze and interpret the results. For example, we investigate how your organization influences factors such as the climate or dietary habits—depending on your mission. The results of an impact study help you to know more precisely what you are influencing and to focus on those factors that bring about the desired effects.
The way we work
Our approach
We are convinced that transformation projects require transdisciplinary approaches in which science and practice work together to create responsible innovations for a sustainable future. Scientific support of these innovations from the outset enables practice partners to build on a solid foundation. They know what works and why, and can use this knowledge to act with confidence. Research institutions benefit from real-world data and can thus sharpen their theories and understanding of causal relationships. Together, we turn the spotlight on impact.
Our expertise
Impact unfolds better together. Our large and diverse network plays a crucial role in translating between research and practice. Through close cooperation with various stakeholders such as universities and think tanks, we initiate and support research projects in a targeted, practical and evidence-based manner.
